Sweet & Sassy is coming back to Cherry Hill!

South Jersey, I know many of you were so upset when Sweet & Sassy closed their Cherry Hill location about a year ago. I don’t blame you – it looked like it was a great spot for memorable birthday parties and pampering for littles and, to be honest, it made me totally bummed that I didn’t have a little girl! You know what, though?! Sweet & Sassy is COMING BACK to Cherry Hill under new ownership and will be located at the Ellisburg Shopping Center. Yesssss!!!

I had the opportunity to meet with Tiffany, the owner of Sweet & Sassy, and got to get a sneak peek of the new location and learn all about what they’re planning on offering. You guys, this is going to be awesome! Read on to get the low-down on the *new* Sweet & Sassy!

So…what exactly is Sweet & Sassy?

The “ultimate destination for salon, spa, and parties,” Sweet & Sassy will offer children’s haircuts (first haircuts, too!), manicures, pedicures, and ear piercing in addition to a variety of special events. This new location is inclusive of those that have special needs and will even have handicap accessible stations for pampering! (The former special education teacher in me is absolutely THRILLED about this!)

This is just for girls, right?

I totally thought so, but I was WRONG! Boys are totally welcomed to join in on the experience at Sweet & Sassy. From haircuts to “drop & dine nights” (I KNOW!!! South Jersey has been severely lacking in options for occasional child drop off nights – I’m so excited!) and more, there will be plenty of options for boys to enjoy Sweet & Sassy.

Is the pink limo coming back?

You bet your booty it is! The Sweet & Sassy pink limo was one of the most recognizable vehicles in Cherry Hill before, so I’m thrilled that it’s coming back! The limo will be used for quick rides around town during birthday parties and can also be used for pick-up transportation purposes. If you’re having your child’s birthday party at the end of a school day, you’ll be able to arrange for the pink limo to pick up the party goers AT school. So cool, right?!

Will I need to make reservations for services?

Sweet & Sassy will totally accommodate walk-ins as they are available. Of course, we all know that making a reservation will most likely save you some time, this last-minute mama totally appreciates the fact that Sweet & Sassy does not require reservations.

You said something about events?

Yep! In addition to the daily services, Sweet & Sassy has some big plans to partner with the community for spirit nights and fundraisers. Events such as glam camp (how I wish I was little again!), tea parties & meet and greets with princesses, and crafting with superheroes, pirates, and unicorns are to be anticipated in addition to “drop and dine” nights (score!). The kids can’t have all the fun, though, right? Sweet & Sassy also plans on hosting classes so that parents can learn how to braid hair and paint little fingernails. Love!

When is Sweet & Sassy opening?!

As of this very moment, there is not a set date for opening. They’ve been working hard on the store, though, so know that Sweet & Sassy will be open in time for back to school haircuts! As soon as I know of a specific date, I will definitely update this post, so be sure to keep an eye on this post/our Facebook page as I’ll announce when it’s available.
